CarePath™ Services for Physicians
CarePath supports you and your patients with enhanced pathology reports and diagnostic summaries that aid in diagnosis and management of your patients.
Diagnostic Summaries. These utilization reports enable physicians to profile their patient populations by diagnosis. Physicians can compare their patient profiles to other physicians in their practices or to DIANON’s national database. Diagnostic summaries are delivered quarterly to physician clients using DIANON’s prostate, genitourinary, and dermatopathology services.

CarePathOnLine Support Center (www.carepathonline.com) is a patient-focused Web site that provides comprehensive information about specific health problems in easy-to-understand terms. CarePathOnLine helps patients learn about their health problems, including how they are diagnosed, the current standards of care for disease management, and new treatments being studied in clinical trials. |
All CarePath content is written by medical writers who specialize in creating patient education materials founded on thorough reviews of evidence-based medical literature. In addition, a medical advisory board reviews all content to ensure clinical accuracy and congruence with current standards of care.
When appropriate, Pre-Procedure Guides and Patient Counseling Reports invite patients to visit CarePathOnLine for additional information. Physicians may also insert a link from their Web sites to CarePathOnLine. Please note that no patient-specific content is provided on CarePathOnLine.
