Dr Shen is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and dermatopathology. He received his medical degree from Shanghai Medical University, Shanghai, China, and holds a doctorate in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Ill. Dr Shen completed his pathology residency training at the University of California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, where he was chief resident physician, a surgical pathology fellow, and a dermatopathology fellow. He was the winner of two NIH National Service Awards in tumor pathology and the College of American Pathologists Foundation’s Informatics Awards for three consecutive years. Previously, Dr Shen practiced as a general pathologist in the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, Anaheim, Calif.

Dr Cai completed his dermatology residency training at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Medical University and his anatomic and clinical pathology residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he also completed a dermatopathology fellowship. Dr Cai has published several papers in the field of dermatopathology.

Dr Cheng is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and dermatopathology. He earned his medical degree from Tongji Medical University in the People’s Republic of China. He completed a residency in internal medicine in the Laboratory of Liver Diseases and a fellowship in cardiology in the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Diseases at the Tongii University Hospital and Graduate School. He also completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr Eng is board-certified in dermatopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology. He is a former scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and holds a master of science degree in microbiology. After obtaining his medical degree at the University of Tennessee, he completed a 5-year residency at the University of Texas-Houston. This was followed by a 2-year dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Texas-Southwestern under the direction of Dr Clay Cockerell. Dr Eng has published several papers in the field of dermatopathology. He has been in his current position since 2001.

He served as divisional medical director for LabCorp-Florida from August 2004 until January 2008, when he chose to concentrate on dermatopathology. Dr Hughes received his medical training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and his residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Baylor University. Dr. Binder is a renowned Dermatopathologist and an internationally known expert in skin diseases with a specialty in pigmented lesions and lymphoid lesions of the skin. He is also the founder and Director of one of the few Dermatopathology fellowship training programs in the state of California. Dr. Binder brings a wealth of clinical experience to diagnostic dermatopathology and his comprehensive consultative reports are widely sought.

Dr McClain is a board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and dermatopathology. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri. He completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Medical Center of Vermont in Burlington and a dermatopathology fellowship at New York University in New York City.
