Dr Amberson is board-certified in anatomic pathology and cytopathology. He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed residency training in pathology at the New York Hospital–Cornell University Medical Center. Dr Amberson was a cytopathology fellow under Leopold Koss, MD, at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. He also holds an MBA from Columbia University. Before joining DIANON Systems, Dr Amberson was assistant professor of pathology at the Cornell University School of Medicine. He has authored articles in general pathology, urology, flow cytometry, and image cytometry.

Dr O’Dowd received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr O’Dowd performed his pathology residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Utah Medical Center and did an additional fellowship year of anatomic pathology in FNA cytopathology with Dr William Frable at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr O’Dowd was an instructor in pathology at the George Washington University Affiliated Hospital and was a staff pathologist at the Washington Hospital Center. He has authored extensive articles in uropathology.

Dr Poole is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. After graduating from the University of Kansas Medical School, Dr Poole was a surgical intern at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He then returned to the University of Kansas as a surgical resident and subsequently transferred to pathology. Dr Poole completed both a residency and fellowship in surgical pathology and cytology. He joined the UroCor division of DIANON Systems in the fall of 1994. He has seen more than 120,000 prostate biopsies and has contributed to articles regarding suspicious focus on prostate needle biopsy and twelve-core needle biopsy sampling. He is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.

Dr Chatterjee is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. She received her medical degree from the University of Calcutta, India, and completed her pathology residency and a fellowship in anatomic pathology at the University of Ottawa, Canada. Dr Chatterjee's experience includes serving as pathologist and chief of clinical pathology at Womak Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, during which time she developed a special interest in uropathology and worked closely with the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Dr Chatterjee has extensive diagnostic experience in uropathology and urine cytology.

Dr Tepperberg is board-certified in clinical cytogenetics. He received a master’s degree in genetics from West Virginia University, and a PhD in genetics and developmental biology from West Virginia University with thesis research at Duke University. He did his postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina. Dr Tepperberg supervises the molecular cytogenetics laboratory where he is responsible for the diagnosis, interpretation, and development of prenatal, postnatal, and cancer fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) testing. He also supervises staff continuing education and journal club, and he is involved with computer and library searches for patient-related cytogenetic problems. Dr Tepperberg is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and a member of the American Society of Human Genetics and the Southeastern Regional Genetics Group.
Michael Bookbinder, MD

Dr Bookbinder is certified by the American Board of Pathology. He received his medical degree from the Brown University Program in Medicine, Providence, RI. Dr Bookbinder has more than 20 years of experience in anatomic and clinical pathology. He was also an associate clinical professor at Yale University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Uruguay and completed her residency training at the University of Colorado. Dr de Campo also completed fellowships in surgical pathology at the University of Texas Galveston Medical Branch and uropathology at the University of Colorado. She was director of the pathology department at the Denver Clinic-Accord Medical Center. She was also a postdoctoral fellow and research associate at the Prostate Diagnostic Center, University of Colorado. Dr de Campo has worked at DIANON Systems since 1999.

Dr Peng is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He completed his training in anatomic and clinical pathology at New York University Medical Center. He extended his stay at NYU Medical Center for a surgical pathology fellowship. He moved to Oklahoma City in October of 1999 after a year of practicing general surgical pathology and cytopathology in a private lab in New York City. Dr Peng also holds a doctorate in toxicology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has research experience in analytical chemistry and molecular biology.

Dr Vasa is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, cytopathology, and blood banking. She received her medical degree from Medical College, M.S. University, India, and completed her residency training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center (affiliated with Rutgers University), Bellevue Hospital, and New York University Medical Center. Dr Vasa was a cytopathology fellow at the University of Illinois and a blood-banking fellow at American Red Cross Blood Services, Tristate Region, Chicago. Dr Yin is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He received his medical degree from Harbin Medical University in the People’s Republic of China. He completed a residency in surgery at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University and received a PhD from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Dr Yin also completed a residency in surgery at the University of Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, and a pathology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Jonathan I. Epstein, MD - Professor of Pathology, Urology, and Oncology, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
Dr Epstein is an internationally recognized authority in uropathology. He has authored more than 300 articles, four books, and 22 book chapters in the field. Dr Epstein graduated from Boston University School of Medicine. He trained in anatomic pathology at Johns Hopkins where he was chief resident and completed a fellowship in oncologic pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
